This page is for students who are currently participating in the Promise Plus program. If you are not currently an Promise+ student, please refer to the Future Promise+ Students page.

Currently enrolled Promise+Plus students must meet the program requirements below to remain eligible by our Promise PlusLock-In Date to receive term-to-term promise financial and support benefits for the first two years of college. Our Promise Plus requirements are designed to help you achieve your Promise to Succeed!

Promise Plus Lock In Date Image

The Lock-In Date is the Promise Plus deadline set in the Fall or Spring semester for students to register for a minimum of 6 units which is required to be eligible for the Promise Plus program. Part-time and full-time benefits will be determined based on unit enrollment at the Lock-In Date. 

Benefits by Units 

  • Less than Part-Time: 0 - 5.5 units (Ineligible for Promise Plus) 
  • Part-Time Benefits: 6 - 11.5 units
  • Full-Time Benefits: 12+ units         

Note:

  • Units added after the Lock-in Date will not be considered to receive an increase in benefits. 
  • Waitlisted courses do not count towards the minimum unit requirement.
