Mt. SAC's bookstore, the SacBookRac, will hold an open house on Wednesday, Apr. 4, from 10 a.m. to noon. The open house celebrates the bookstore's new management, Barnes & Noble.
Mt. SAC students Edilberto "Iggy" Ylo and Amir Freeman are two of the 83 community college students throughout the state recently selected for the 2018 All-California Academic teams, chosen by Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), the international community college honor society.
The Mt. SAC Forensics Team won 13 awards, including one gold medal, five silver, and seven bronze Mar. 8-11 at the 2018 California Community Colleges Forensics Association State Championship tournament in Sacramento. Overall, Mt. SAC placed fourth behind Orange Coast, Moorpark, and Solano College.
